This azdovette appears to be purely red... because she is purely red. When an azdov's primary and secondary fur colors are the same color they are simply that one color and don't have visible markings. However, many monocular azdoves dye markings onto their ears and tuft in order to conform to azdov beauty standards. Usually they choose black fur dye for markings. In fact that can she is holding isn't paint, it's dye.
