Here's a super super mellow track. I wrote the melody nearly 3 years ago the first time I ever touched a bass guitar. And I thought it was about time I made something out of it. I was going after a chill Pearl Jam type thing

this is excellent. I apologize for not being as attentive to your stuff lately as I would have liked. I just got through with my final week in my final quarter for the year. I really like the mix of electric and acoustic and the lyrics are great. What kind of guitar is that electric? Its got a really throaty sound like a clean Les Paul or some other Gibson-ish something.
Peter is a police man, Henry is a pimp and his duty is his doobie doobie doo....It's that meeeelllooowwww.... all those resolved tensions, dominant seventh, tonic, hand me a gin while you're at it :p
Now onto a more serious comment, I did like this! Another style you've really got a grasp on. The music is nice and soft, some interesting drumming (yes, it's quite different in character than your other things!)
Oh, and you only rhymed the first and third lines of each stanza (verse), with a sort of near rhyme on the latter two on the second and fourth lines. Quite interesting indeed. Wonderful song!
