The Endis mostly serves a diplomatic role. As such it's shuttle bay is very spacious and luxurious. In real warships there is nowhere near this amount of space to store shuttles.
That first panel is also a nice way to give things in this comic a sense of scale. It's the first time that I get to show something that isn't a bridge or a cramped corridor. And the Endis is only a small destroyer. While it isn't a small ship it isn't a very large one either.

Ah, tail swaying there, nice little detail that could easily be overlooked. Now it makes me wonder if its instinct taking over or her being a bit more at ease with her modified body now. Maybe this is just my mind overthinking but how is she gonna take those papers? she just gonna carry them in her mouth now? or maybe grab em with her hands and stuff em down her shirt. She doesn't appear to have any pockets and it would be a pain to walk around with them in one hand kinda knocking her a bit off balance.
I try not to overthink those little details in this kind of comic. If I linger too long on these issues I soon find myself thinking of nothing but 'how does a quadruped manage that'. I'll spend more time thinking about the comic than I spend drawing it. And after I've thought long and hard I'll start drawing the answers I came up with, which slows the pace of the comic down to a crawl.
