Chapter seven of my ‘Tales of the Folly’ had Neal admitting to have ‘fired’ invading pirates out of his ship much like bullets out of a rail-gun. As there were some questions/comments about it on a yahoo group I’m on, I decided we needed a short tale that cover the event.

One of the few shoot-em-up games I played on the PC was Privateer. The opening has a guy getting hit by pirates, the last one begs to not be killed – it’s just business, and the guy points out that the pirates are costing him money – and he’s on a budget, just before he blows the pirate away.
