The black and white is such drama on this. I really love what you've done on it.

What kind of timeframe to produce this page?

That's pretty hard to figure out... the older version was from May 2011. All the changes from that to this version were done in maybe a couple hours - more or less. picked this old pic to practice with new wacom.

I am curious, with the new equipment, how long a fresh page would take! It looks great!

...so i might do a test digi ink on that - butttttt - i might not try that out as the actual pages will be real media for pencils and basic inks with dome digital pattern based cross-hatching and digital lettering ....

Thanks ! This was a quick revision over a first attempt at a sample page that utterly failed to be the style i wanted - so revising was instructive - need strong blacks - more contrast - white lines - etc. It will get better in the next test page.

It's about 50% 0r 60% there in this test. i don't want all the panels to be so squared off and sealed, the blacks to be better planned out, etc.

YOU may be dissatisfied, I can tell you I'd give my eyeteeth to be able to draw like that!

And, if nothing else, this page shows that even in a flowing skirt, Emma clearly has been callipygeanally blessed.

I think this is most impressive.

it's closer to what i want the story to look like - especially panels 2 and 5. i mean, it's cool, i like it, but i have a very specific way i want the pages to look.
