My late dog, Jesse, always reminded me of Falcor the luck dragon and I always said to myself I'd draw her as one. I did once but meh, it just looked like an elongated version of her. I decided to revisit this concept a bit more and though it's loosely based, there's some elements that are very much her: The multi legs represents the fact that she was always running around and under-foot.  vantid used to joke that she was Sleip Jesse (like sleipnir) and had lots of legs that got her from point A to point B at RAPID SPEED! This dragon flies by sure will, not unlike how Jesse could summon levitation powers to get a whole loaf of bread off the top of the counter, even though she was not much more than a foot tall. (she of course ate the whole thing and barfed it up slice by slice but yanno...dogs are gross). This particular dragon, while similar to a luck dragon, is a dream dragon, and escorts your subconscious to sweet dreams and can also rescue you from bad ones. I got this idea because my friend SnowWolfMystic made me a memorial plush of my dog which I sleep with every night. I don't have a name for this character yet. I'm hoping it will come to me, but I'm open to suggestions.
