And finally I get to introduce Peacemaker. In this house we appreciate a good lad.

Thanks, I'm impressed you can follow it if you've never read the books, since it is so reliant on being familiar with canon. That's mostly because if I tried explaining everything here I'd end up with nothing but a huge exposition dump. I got my books off of Amazon or at the book store. They're very enjoyable and definitely worth the read. I'm trying to keep the style in line with the books (apart from the fact that I'm generally a bit more wordy in the narrative) so if you like this you'll probably like the actual books too.
There are currently two and a half (one is in progress) arcs to the canon series. Each arc is five books long and revolves around a set of specific characters. Each book follows one of the characters in the group. The first series is about a group of young dragons in a prophecy which says they will end a war that's been going on for over twenty years. The fanfiction I'm writing is based on a character that appears at the end of the last book in arc two. The spoken text in my prologue is actually taken from the book to make it consistent.
