There are a number of different medical categories of shock; psychological stress is one of them. But it's the sudden rise in blood pressure that would be dangerous in his condition there.

The art is outstanding, but Obvious plot is kinda painfully dumb.

If you were expecting some kind of major twist, that isn't what this is. It's a character piece that ties up some loose threads. We've known since issue one ended that Battu has been stitched up; there was no way Popeo wasn't going to find out. It's a springboard to learning more about these characters, what makes them tick, what they prioritise and why.

It was also planned originally some time back as bonus content for Patreon and the first print volume, but so many people kept asking 'what happened to the Prince'.

Also this minisode is entitled "No Good Deed...", so you know, I'm not really sure what anyone else was expecting. :p
