I wouldn't say it's anything too spectacular but it was still fun nonetheless! I mean last night I sat around just before turning in; checked out a few of the submissions recently put up and saw something done up by
Robyn_Paperdoll. There was a certain appeal I found interesting then I checked her gallery briefly and saw something along the lines of an art contest. Coloring one of her illustration linearts specifically.
Now I don't wanna criticize the artist but I kind of felt like I went out of my way for this not because of the coloring-- the coloring was really no big deal to me (I need all the practice I can get actually...) but the lineart was really bugging me LOL. Again I don't mean to offend, but for the sake of making myself comfortable in this, I actually relined the original by boosting the DPI and pixels to a more reasonable format for me and then worked the whole thing up.
So in a way I played it out like an overachiever just because hahaha.
Anyway. I hope she likes what I did-- I wanted to do do a background but I felt like I wasted enough time messing around-- however if the need arises, I could put something in there. But for now? I think it looks great otherwise.

o.o... holy shit, seriously !
im completely speachless, youve done such an AMAZING job on this, and to be honest, i dont think it needs a background with the spectacular job you done on the figure!
I LOVE the adjustments youve made too, and the way you shaded.. and everything! you made her look more chunky too, which is never a bad thing! im not very good at portraying a fuller shape with my colouring.
Do you have anything that i could learn from? i would love to work up to your standard of shading <3
thankyou soooo much for doing this, it totally made my night!

Well I routinely host live broadcast feeds off Justin.TV where I shed small bits of my shortly acquired wisdom for others to assimilate if desired so in a way, yeah I could help out if you wanted
Anyway, glad to be a part of your contest and can't wait to see what your other contestant results end up as. As for me, I'll be around most likely on my JTV as always.
