you certain about that sand substrate not drying out those bubs b4 they get a few instars of hardening up behind them?
i happen to have one of my gals about to pop soon too
just fyi, interesting thing i learned after some time of dealing with these, is that they can change colors post shed
don't know if you are familiar with the tarantula A. seemani, but its the same phenomenon and by chance the very same colors
after a molt they can take on a black, brown or bluish hue in natural light and then change again in the next molt
i haven't seen that talked about online but i have personally seen it happen on occasion
and its even more evident in those big sterilites of emps they have out at reptile shows, looking close they aren't all the same black
