I do not realy see a down side in pressing that button i would too

its not like the organite consciousness back up dowside :you may lose your soul ( your it is immaterial and your og organic body got destroyed or if the "its organic there ford it has a soul" is taken ex cell dragonball-z ,but if a Single cell remains ..in the end its just a soulles copy of you or what was you) but you neural patterns and other cellular data gets saved for reconstruction later down to the hair thicknesses ,like the plot of the 2015 game soma by visceral games witch i found great in terms of reflecting on what is to be human and what lengths we are going as a species to survive
