Well, she can try gliding.

There may not be enough wing to provide a good lift surface on the offhand glance. But that doesn't mean it isn't possible with shorter wings if they get moving fast enough to compensate for the lack of surface area. I think maybe eight to twelve beats a minute would be minimum to maintain air speed, but to get there probably twenty to thirty for takeoff from standing. A boosted (leaping full force), maybe get away with eighteen to twenty-five beats.

Either way though, lots of practice and for sure, lots of falling down until building up the muscles. Still though, keep it up cause looks good all the way.

Try leaping off a tree into a lake. Might be possible for gliding.

Also, might be 'magic' wings.

Functional or not, they look dang awesome!
