Really proud that I hammered this piece out before the end of the year and generally enjoyed how it turned out.

I really wanted to capture that youthful Christmas morning nostalgia. Waking mom and dad up at 5 am and having to wait for what seemed like forever for them to roll out of bed and make their morning coffee while you're looking for any evidence that Santa had visited.

I also like to imagine the dialog for this piece as Eli shouting "I knew it! I knew it was a guitar!"

Then Grim muttering "duh" under his breath before pointing out that Santa actually brought him a bass.
