Today, or well, now yesterday, a lot of us found out that
Chaos_Coyote passed away.
It's a little difficult, even though we weren't the closest friends, just knowing them for, I don't know, about 11 years, makes it really like losing a close friend. It's not about us being friends, but having someone in your life for that long, who was always positive and kind, never a problem, a sweet commenter, fun friend, neat kinkster, good writer - tons of great things about them. And, knowing that's about it to their life story's a little sad. Especially since, as I learned and read more about them, I didn't even have all my memories straight. I feel a bit bad that, after reading more, I realized there was a lot less I knew correctly. Nothing in a bad way of course. But, reading more about someone, and seeing their commentary and art and work, he really was a genuine guy.
I wasn't sure if I'd doodled him before - I thought I did, but, apparently had things mixed up. X3 But, I guess a doodle of one of his stories appeared in a project of mine years ago, and he was happy about that - so I'm glad I did something once. But, it's weird to think, after years of knowing someone... I didn't draw him once? Aww. Well, I wish I did, but, by completing this picture, I suppose I got to spend more time with him, and finally get a good quality picture of him done to make up for all the years I didn't. (The drawing is of Oxnard wrapping his arm around Chaos's arm, as they sit together in the purple shadows of a dark sunset. His coyote is a lot like Calamity Coyote from Tiny Toons, and he has goggles on his head.) But hey, it's also kinda cool and shows what a good polite guy he was for never asking or begging either. (: A good pup.
A lot of us will miss you, Chaos! I hope you're in peace now.

This still seems so unreal.
He was a giving, fun and playful guy. I knew him from IRC and Mushes first under a different name, and then was a fan of the Chaos character without realizing until he told me. XD
He was generous and kind. He literally gave my big sister a place for her & her cats to stay when she had nowhere to go, setting in motion her life up to now where she'd meet the love of her life and they would fold me into chosen family.
The one time I was in Seattle a few years ago we -just- missed getting to hang out. We were making loose plans to hang next year once it was safe to travel again.
He always called me either "baby bro" or "Baby Blue".
I was just talking to him last week.
I know he was a fan of your stuff, Nishi, and I'd like to think he'd love this too.
It's a fitting tribute.

When I saw the name, I was like "no, it can't be THAT Chaos. He's been here forever, he posted not that long ago." Like, he's been around almost as long as I have... And I think he was getting set up in SL too, I was thinking "maybe we could hangout there."

I just found out that Chaos had passed away. Does anybody know what he died of?
BTW, this a very touching image of two friends being together before one has to leave. I never interacted with Chaos, but I was very much familiar with his art, which was popular in the Tiny Toons fanbase. I knew something was odd when I stopped coming across new Chaos Coyote images.
