Inuyasha was definitely a wide ride.
As for Kikyo, I grew to like her resurrected personality (simply because she was free to follow her own way), especially as she sought redemption towards the end. Her Shinidamachu (Soul Collectors) stood out from a lot of the characters in the series and in the manga. They were just so other-worldly. It worked due to their purpose.
