They are like the Tardis...a lot more space inside that you would believe However, I got the little sucker because their cheap to own, cheap to insure, cheap to tax and even cheaper to get parts for AND run. Never had a problem with it as much as everyone wants to tell me it will break down a lot. However, when I finally get in a good position here with no claims and a good driving record here in the UK, I can move on to something a little more exciting
Oh...$1,000 just to ship. To tax it just to enter the country is 20% of what I paid for it...then the testing cost (to make sure it is to UK safety standard) another $1,000 or so. Then!! Cost to get a license plate for it...oh...another $1,200. Then another cost to tax it, which would be around $600-650

And they are fucking retarded how lights should be, heights of...basically every exterior part of the car, mirrors, tires (American tires are pretty much illegal). All sorts of loaded ass-chocolate. Also the modifications you have to do to American cars. Luckily my Saturn only had to have the white side-markers linked to the indicators, and two small slips of metal slipped in front of part of the headlight beams and a very bright red "fog light" installed to the back and. Usually the have to have modification to the wing mirrors, head-lights and taillights...engine work, exhaust work...and all sorts of rubbish that just isn't needed!!
