Because I couldn't think of a better ID profile pic XD

I got this bottle of mead from my friend Niall while visiting my folks...I've had Medieval mead before...this stuff is like drinking a liquidfied honeycomb...SO GOOOOOD!

So yes, this is what I look like...an actually *good* picture of me.

I tried some homemade mead a couple weeks ago for the first time... that stuff IS delicious!

It's especially delicious when it's the sweet kind :) I'm not a fan of dry drinks, even with dry mead, but the sweet stuff is sooooo good!

A lady in my SCA group brews awesome mead :)

Mead is like one of my top three favorite alcoholic things. I've got such a sweet tooth.

Do you prefer yours cold and clean or do you like it warm and spiced?

I like it both cold and warm, personally :) Certain ones taste better when they're warm (like orange and spice), while others are awesome when they're cold (like "stormbrew", aka quick mead) :)

As far as I know of, you can only get it in Quebec. Here's their webpage that I got from the back of the bottle though :)

In short, it's honey-wine :) The stuff in the bottle I've got there is so thick and dark, it's like drinking a honeycomb...with alcohol in it! XD I've had others, like quick mead (aka Stormbrew), that kinda tastes like a honey soft drink that's just on the verge of going flat...very sweet, but still kinda fizzy, which is what got me hooked on the stuff in the first place XD

I always have a bottle ready. It's not hard to brew mead, i do it myself all the time.

I'll most likely use my spaghetti pot for boiling, but I still want to see if I can get a 5 gallon jar to age it in, as well as get some bottles to bottle them up in as well :)

And then, of course, it's just the matter of affording the honey >.>;
