Box of babies, ready to go to a show!
Old pic of some babies being transported to a show I thought might be cute :) Now I have a database to keep track of them all so I put their ID number on the label and their info stickies stay on their tubs. The stickies have their feeding records on it tho, need to figure out a convenient way to keep track of those. Right now I just have a big pile of stickies :P
Anyway! Doing shows is fun but a lot of work. Right now it's about a 3 hr drive to the shows, and I need at least an hour to prep the babies. Then a 3 hr dive back and another hour putting them away. So I'm usually up at 5am and not done until 7pm.
Hopefully when I'm done with school here I can move somewhere that has closer reptile shows!

Hehe. I used to own 3 snakes. I can tell you I have far larger then a 10 gal at home. I am very savvy when it comes to snakes <3 Hehe. And only babies- though I wouldn't push it past an adult to try. lol. Babies couldn't stand up on their tailtip to reach it, but I chanced it once, and found it shriveled up behind my clothes drier the following week x.x;;;;; so I wouldn't want to try. I'd love something a tad bigger. Could you point me to any good ball python breeders? :3
Ooh my goodness! Beautiful! I love reptile shows, went to one in Raleigh. NC not too long ago and picked up a Motley/stripe ghost corn. There are a few other phases I want, not sure if i'm going to breed them (especially right now since we are in the military) but maybe some time along the line. I am a bit skittish, but it's one of those hobbies I really want to get into one day.
Will have to check out your site as well!

S'funny, I'm not a fan of amels either! But I have a snow girl and a het snow boy who make a /lot/ of babies for me.
Creamsicles on the other hand, I love creamsicles! I guess they're just an amel really but they're so orange and yellow <3 I think all the amels on top are actually creamsicles, although Diablo's very red so some tend to look less orangy.
And I think that anery is actually a caramel! They look almost like aneries when babies, before they really develop their yellows :)

$9 is wicket cheap! :O I usually sell normals for $15. Not that you can't get a good deal but I'd say be a little careful of super-cheap snakes, ask the seller if it seems like they take good care of them and stuff. Kingsnake.com has the most complete listing of herp shows in the USA that I know of! It's where I find out where the local shows are :)
