I'm so glad that previous page was over. I hate thinking that people thought Martin would go back on his promise. I think this also finally finally confirms what a lot of people suspected...that Tessa does indeed work on the same base as Star..I mean what was it...Page 20? Nothing like keeping folk hanging....
Anyway hope you're sitting comfortably kiddies...
If you really cant wait to see what happens next. The next THREE pages can be found on my patreon over here on the $10 tier https://www.patreon.com/squiggle

While I'm not super familiar with the British Military since I'm former US Military, He's just a Sgt from the looks of it. If it's anything like our rank structure, he's a jr NCO and IIRC T's Special Operations. In the USAF and US Army, our Special Operations grunts are usually E-5 at minimum by the time they finish training.
Marellis is indeed a sergeant as seen from his insignia, making him a jr. NCO.
The enlisted ranks structure of the British Army can be seen here. It's more simple than the US Army structure, but it makes up for that by having many different variations for the names and insignia of the ranks depending on where exactly you're serving (for example "fusilier" replacing private in The Royal Regiment of Scotland and 4 others.)

Its a moot point if the UK military is anything like the US. If it came out he was forcing a Jr nco to do this his butt would be slapped with a felony and quite possibly sent to jail faster than you can whistle. Dishonorable discharges fly about the same as felonies and military prisons are no joke. They've been cracking down hard on sex crimes.
Well, that theory was proven right then. Cool.
Also, despite what I was saying in the last comment section, I am glad that Martin didn't go against what he'd promised Star he'd do.
Onto this comic: I'm really looking forward to what comes next. Both the explanation, and whatever happens concerning "Mary" in the next room (and I'm sure Lure can keep "her" entertained while Star has a nice storytime with Aunty Tessa).

As for me I'm just a little Goodra and me and my partner and I love this comic and look forward to the future with excitement.
She reminds me of someone my dad used to serve with. It was back when they were still testing weather it was a good idea to put wemon in combat (I seriously cant believe the closed mindedness if the time). She was air force special forces and would say stuff like "fun little story" or something she did was "deffinatly an accident" when it deffinatly wasn't XD
Well this was to be expected with Tessa as most have summed due to her stern and commanding authority on all
Now that the truth is out and star didnt know she worked on base either Tessa is in a much higher rank than her and Matt or something else
I believe that Tessa has actually been keeping an eye on Star during the day to make sure she was ok
Manda probably asked this to make sure kitten was not being naughty or that she was not in any trouble that she was keeping from her
Lets find out

Figured it would be something like, "I didn't tell Manda. Tessa did." Now we finally get to learn Tessa's mysterious past. I have so many possibilities running through my head, and I have no idea what the best one would be.
Well...realistic best one at least. The best unrealistic one is that she's secretly Nick Furry and wants to talk to Star about the Avengers initiative.

Yeah, I didn't think it was Martin. I mean, Star didn't say anything about not telling Tessa, so Martin was okay in doing that. Plus, Tessa has seen the posters, so a lot of this works against Marellis.
Still, I understand what Star could be going through, you don't want your 'safe space' intruded on by someone who is holding something over you, even if they are part of the culture and you now have 'the goods' on them.

A wonderful pay off for Tessa's early appearance.
Also her ruffling Martin's hair is adorable.
Couple things
1. Tessa's tail acting as a divider for the panel. BRILLIANT MOVE!
2. Star's face in panel 3 is just too cute.
3. I really like Tessa's face in the last panel. It's just a really nice drawing of her.
And Please, Ms. Tessa, tell us a story! (I don't know her, so you know, calling her "aunty" might be a bit presumptuous!)

Well... Star never said Martin couldn't tell someone and that person couldn't go to Manda. Loophole xD
Well, was half right about someone in the community being on the base to find out about this situation. Should have suspected it might be Tessa.
Also, yay, storytime!

Seems like we place little faith in Martin for those who thought he told Manda but I can't believe he is sly enough to tell someone else and not break the promise.Though I do wonder how Star not know about tessa or are they in different bases?
(It really take some time to remind its tessa and not tecca)
