What you have to do is see every war monument in DC at night, you will break into tears.

as long as you dont remind us of how many people died and the war and stuff!

I wouldn't, I did that in eighth grade and almost broke down.

Living ultra close to DC, I see this almost everytime I'm around.

It warms my heart every time. Along the vast number of other memorials around.

As an admirer of the military, it not only makes me shed tears sometimes, but makes me feel proud of our men and women who fought and died for our country :3

Those men on Iwo Jima had the worst. Days. It took days to get the flag on the mountian from the Japs. And lost more men on the Battle of Iwo Jima than any other battle of the Pacific. I salute all of those men that lost their lives. From the Pacific, Korea, Vietnam, Somolia, Iraq, Afganistan. And anywhere the Marines have been and had a battle.
