The corruption of Tonitrux ran too deep. The forces of chaos seeped through every cell of his being, changing him from the once loving dragon to a force of nature on the warpath.

His first target was the nearby city. They've had it good for too long.

After a long siege of the city, with many of the inhabitants perishing to the lightning generated by the corrupted storm dragon, another being caught his eye. Another dragon, one that was not feral like him, and an insolent one at that.

With a shot of his rifle, he angered the dragon - it burned, it hurt, but it wouldn't be enough to fell him. In that, the corrupted Tonitrux turned and charged, enraged by the insolence of the smaller one, for having the gall to attack him.

In Pollard's eyes, it was worth it. His engagement would ensure that those he cares about would leave the city alive. To him though, Tonitrux was a friend. Well, a former friend. His shot was purposefully non-lethal, hoping that the pain would shock him out of anything.

Ultimately, all he could do is remember the past with the dragon charging at him, before the battle really began.
