It was a difficult journey, but eventually, I've reached the goal.
BUT, it was too late.
Pizza guy, while still breathing, laid there, crippled. Beside him, a box labeled pizza, wide open and empty.
Across from it, the pie, laying there on the dirty concrete on it's flip side, tomato sauce streaked across the pavement. A sad sight it was.
I stood there in in the now pouring rain, looking at the scene in disbelief.
It was all in vain...
BUT, it was too late.

...Then you turn around to see the assassin raising his weapon, only to be riddled with bulletholes and leaking tomato sauce, stumbling and finally falling face flat into the pavement
You may have failed the pizza, but you made sure as hell its death was avenged
