Hmm, I wonder what he went to jail for. The way he looks, I could almost see him owning a Harley style bike of some sort - biker jacket and all. Unless I'm misinterpreting what he must be like off the court.

Oh, I could see that, too! He went to prison on an assault charge, serving just 18 months. Enough to get into prison, but certainly not as bad as he could have had it.

His reputation for getting into fights has been well known, though. During last year's off-season, he was arrested for beating up an opossum in a bar. The charges were later dropped, so while he got a 5 game suspension from his team, he was able to come back early in the season and play. There had been concern before the season began that he would get another year in the pen, which is why the team was so desperate to pick up Jeff Random in the draft-- he was the only player who looked like he could replace Rufus' physical playing style.

Damn that's one tough wolf! O,o

And of course I get to experience his ferocity amped up for the playoffs... the medical team is gonna have to be on their toes. -___-

But still... I won't back down. I'll play my game, take the punishment, and keep focused. That's all I can do, and hopefully the Sand Dollars will surprise a lot of people this postseason.
