He uses his tail to hold the pen! But nah he doesn't hide the journal in his pouch - at least not in all rps; only in the one that has it be the bag of holding XD

oh, the bag of holding expands to the sides. You can fit any object in - even an owlbear. We don't ask questions.

I wonder though.. is Alastor the "main character" and Shai the "familiar"? That's at least the vibe I'm getting. Or it has to do with me having put a lot of thought into a Naga spellcaster for Shadowrun....
