Hard to believe that long before we crept by the Year 2000 to welcome in a new century, it was almost a whole hundred years prior to that, in 1903, that the very first patented stuffed rabbit was created. And it was modeled after none other than the character Peter Rabbit.
And to think it was in 2014 that we now see what a Greenie plushie may look like. She certainly looks squeezable and no way could she go plush without her emerald green mitts coming along for the journey into plushiness. And those button eyes, while classic, instantly remind me of the often-overlooked 3D animated movie of 2009, Coraline.
Do yourselves a favor, and if you got a plushie, no matter what shape they may take, or what size they are to behold. Give em’ a big ole bear hug.
