For a while I've had an idea in my head for two new characters who, like all my others, will probably go mostly unused and not be drawn very often. lol A few months ago, the image on the left was drawn (in black-and-white) as a commission by  gahowolf, who wonderfully helped bring them to life. I wanted the first images of these two to come from someone other than me, but then wound up doodling them for myself anyway. XD

Ben the rhino is a businessman - at 33 years old, he's already a self-made millionaire on the board of a major architectural firm. He's ambitious, tough, driven. But generally speaking, he's a pretty laid-back guy.

Susan the crocodile, his wife, is the owner and curator of a high-end art gallery. 38 years old, she's spent two decades in the business and has developed a healthy amount of greed. She's frigid, stern, self-serious, and a fair bit entitled.

Their marriage was one mostly of societal and financial convenience...more political than romantic. That's not to say they don't care about each other, but they're not exactly lovebirds either.
Susan, in particular, sets her sights on Ben's vast money and resources. It's fair to say she's something of a gold-digger and enjoys the finer things in life. But sometimes, Ben is frugal. So when she feels that she needs more jewels or clothes, or if Ben's purse strings are a bit too tight, she always finds a way to..."persuade" him to see things her way.
Susan discovered early on that Ben is very, very ticklish, especially on his big feet, and this is a fact that she loves exploiting. Even a feather can break him. She doesn't have a tickle fetish or derive any kind of pleasure from it...she's just sadistic and mean, and knows the fastest way to make him spend. XD
She's very ticklish too, but good luck getting close enough to her to do anything about it. Ben never seeks revenge against her, because he knows how badly she'll punish him for it.
