this is a four row radial engine with 28 cylinders that was the peak of Pratt and Whitneys piston engine design. this engine was used in the Goodyear F2G "super" corsair. as well as several bombers such as the convair B-36 Peacemaker which was the largest combat aircraft ever produced.
