One last old drawing from the roleplay I used to do with my friend Kain. Here our characters explore the ruins of an ancient city named N'Miri, built into the side of an island caldera much like Santorini. I think this one's from 1998 or so.

Whoa don't fall off that. I like the perspective of this! And the armor that the guy in the back is wearing is pretty neat too.
Sidenote:I don't believe there are any... wait a moment... aha! ah, yes! Right there in the back! Two trees this time! And a weathered stump at the bottom! You have really out done yourself this time.

Very much so! I've used modern cityscapes as backgrounds occasionally because they look awesome, but I've always become too intimidated to go into too much detail. ;) I should give that another go sometime and really put more time and effort into an urban landscape, bet that could be cool.
Yeah, that's what I need to do... The biggest thing I'd need to do in order to make that possible would be to just slow down, really. ;D Once I start a picture, I get pretty eager to finish it up. I could probably have quite a lot of fun results with detail if I forced myself to space it out more and just spend more time! ^^;
