I got a pet!!
This is 1-years-old rat boy named "Mishka". His previous owner couldn't dedicate enough of time to him and probably didn't know how to take care about rat at all. Mishka is soooo lovely and friendly, but has some diseases because of bad care: parasites that bite him, and bronchopneumonia with rhinitis that wasn't cured in time, so it's chronic. He was in bad condition after I adopted him, but we visited a rat doctor in the first day, so he received the necessary treatment quickly. Currently, I should inject him twice a day within 2 weeks, also inject once per week until I kill the parasites (4-6 weeks).

Last days I spent a lot of time to him, so, sorry if I'm being a lil but inactive, this time I have a reason x3

And that's not asking about donations or kind of that, I'm just telling you his story!
According to the previous owner - they liked him a lot. But that's not enough for this animal. When I asked them what Mishka likes to eat - they answered: "Cakes, sugar, sausages, chocolate" O__O;; (that's bad food for rats)

Please, take care about your animals!! Their life is on you. Try to not buy/adopt the animal if you are not sure that you will have enough of time, money and any other resources for them.

I adoooore rats and so happy that I got one ;-; (and that I saved his life) I was dreaming about that for ~5 years (I had no rat for 8+ years) and finally made a decision.
But, because of parasites and pneumonia - I even can't get the second rat for his company (it's risky and stressful). So good that I'm a freelancer and can at least dedicate full time to my little friend.
And, that's 100% that parasites will be cured after a ~month, but bronchopneumonia caused irreparable damage to his lungs, which makes it sometimes difficult for him to breathe. I really hope that a week later, when the treatment is over, he will feel well enough. Because now he is in good condition and runs all over my bed, licks my hands, sleeps next to me and sharpen his teeth by grinding teeth against each other (it means he trusts me and feels good) <3
