Oh oh! It seems that there is somepony with a really strong cold today and should stay resting in her bed for a good while. Fortunately, and to make her recovery easier, she is wearing one of the medical (and really poofy) diapers to take care of the "viruses removal process" in a more comfortable way.
I know this is a pretty classic drawing idea, nothing especially original at all, but I was wishing to try my own version. After realizing that Trixie was one of the ponies that I haven't drawn yet, I thought that she was the perfect candidate for this artwork. She is a proud pony, who never shows weakness or shyness, then this situation of being helpless and sick was great for the character. Like a good change :P
This drawing will be also good to remind everyone to take care of themselves, respect all the regulations and in case of having light symptoms, try to stay at home as long as possible as Trixie is doing.
Thanks to Celestia, my mother and my whole family (including me) have recovered from our diseases of the holidays (if you remember, in the case of my mother, confirmed COVID 19). So, please remember to stay safe and all the possible time #StayAtHome.
By the way, we continue with the amazing streak in the new year! Yay!

Hurray! It has been a most amazing streak of creative works! You really get me excited to get myself back on track to doing something that is not panicking over 'What if...?' scenarios that have no benefit.

I would like to think Starlight Glimmer would be acting as Trixie's nurse. Starlight would not tell any pony of The Great & Powerful Trixie's situation. She also has very good magic that would allow for hooves-free diaper changes that allow her to not further embarrass Trixie. Starlight could easily keep a good distance away, while wearing a mask, to help her friend's hygiene needs and levitate over some things to help The Sick And Recovering Trixie get through her recovery.
Starlight also has proven very able to cast magic that can really influence any pony who may try to make Trixie feel unhappy for her situation. I certainly believe Starlight would not hesitate to use her magic to detour any pony from seeing The Wet And Diapered Trixie.

Perhaps Starlight is the one who suggested the diapers? Maybe Trixie needs to hurry her recovery to make a very important magic show? Or, sadly, she may have COVID really bad and, as a result, Starlight used her abilities to get the diapers to make sure Trixie could stay comfortable and undisturbed as she healed away from those who would not be nice to her in such a time of need?

Thank you Yosh. Indeed this is not a creative streak but a good mood and "happiness" streak. I mean, I've had those ideas for drawing a while ago, simply now I feel good to execute them. Why? No idea at all, probably the silly optimism of starting the year. I'm trying to tell myself that this is my year, the year that the good things are going to happen finally. Probably a feeling that a lot of people is having or would wish to have. So, this works pretty much like a feedback loop because I feel good to draw and making drawings makes me feel good. So, as long as I can maintain the rhythm everything is going to work really good. Next couple of drawings should be already ready to be prepared as soon as I can organize good enough to avoid saturating my mind with artwork and having a good workflow.
I agree pretty much with what you say. Of course that Starlight will take care of her without so much trouble. As long as she doesn't use her "dark" magic to manipulate others to avoid them make Trixie feel bad... Everything will be okay. Now that you mention this, and how creative you're Yosh by the way. I think that unicorns will be perfect to attend a pandemic situation like this one. They could indeed attend patients remotely, behind closed rooms without any risk of contact. I have heard that some countries have used robots for this propose. Sounds really interesting for me indeed.

*Hugs Strongly* Your optimism is infectious and, when I read your posts and 'Padded Princess Of The Foals', I feel the real me pushing through all the garbage that has polluted my mind. You have definitely been a powerful source of recovery when I have needed it most.

Using dark magic would put her into a very depressive state with so much anxiety for fear of what she may do to some creature.
There are lots of great reasons why she, by series end, would never use dark magic. However those are spoilers and I will not share unless you want me to.

Season 6 was great for Starlight and Trixie. Both have had very difficult lives. This made both 'socially awkward' and open to doing not so nice things to compensate for their sadness from their childhoods.
Starlight kept Trixie from ending her life at the mouth of the manticore in 'No Second Prances'. It is hard to not be swallowed up by anxiety and depression. However, as you do for me in just doing what you do, Starlight was there for Trixie and, now, the two are a pair of friends who help keep each other from going too deeply into anxiety and depression.
