Your environments are simply stellar, C-Cat. I just love the shadows of the clouds on the ground, and how the grass is long around his feet. That tree framing the left side of the picture is a great touch. Your composition is just outstanding. I love how Buck is standing to the left and looking out to an open right side, hinting that maybe what he's really looking at is hidden by the framing.
There's something very complex about the way he's looking out into that valley. The fact that there's so much cloud cover-- more than you'd expect on a "perfect" day-- makes me wonder if there's something dark in his thoughts. This isn't just relief from all those kids-- it's medicine. I think maybe he's finding parenthood just a little too overwhelming today.
