Quite like this concept, and the outfit design is excellent.
I'm a sucker for good worldbuilding, and this is a very interesting and surprisingly-effective way to go about it imo. I think a lot of worldbuilding efforts get bogged down with arcane historical events and political intrigue (sort of a top-down approach), but I like that you're depicting how regular people live/work.
