this is a F4U-5 Corsair that is with the Lonestar Air Museum in Galveston Texas. this plane is one of about two dozen world wide that are still airworthy, and this one is flown regularly at airshows throughout Texas and the surrounding states. one of the things that always interests me is how far back the cockpit is from the engine.
