An unusually good closeup of a snake head (for me)! ... I think it's because I was using my parents' digital camera here, which is a few years younger than mine. The color fidelity and autofocus is a little more sophisticated, methinks :)
Got this lavender male in 2007 along with an opal female. Never really got around to naming them? Some snakes demand names, others don't seem to XP They made a nice cluch of eggs but someone was interested in buying the girl and I needed to downsize, so I've sold her. Still got this guy though :) If nothing else, he's pretty! Nicely mellow too.
I think he's a yearling in this photo, which was the night I got them.

Yes yes I actually have a "plasma" or rather lavender bloodred corn! She's very pretty but I'm not sure if I'd call her purple... and then you have /hypo/ bloodred lavender corns, which are this ungodly pink color at first, although I hear that fades out a bit as they age :/
And in the ave is a Woma python. :) They have the yellow heads! I don't quite have the space/money for a black-head... yet!

Wow this is a beautiful snake! My lavender is a little over a year old now I think, and he's still got a lot of purple/pink in him. Not sure if that is going to fade out as he gets older, but it what drew me to him, despite him being kinda snippy in the beginning. LOL Apparently he is also poss. sunkissed, and I notice he does have some whitish flaking patterns that started showing up as he aged. He would be one of the ones i'd breed if and when I try that. ><;
Opal though, those are beautiful as well. That is on my list of WANTS as far as snakes go...argh.
I need to get a decent rack system, or a better way to set up my cages, lol.

I'll have to post pics of my cage setup next. Still tweaking it but overall I feel it's pretty finished.
And there are so many cool different corns! A ghost mot/stripe sounds gorgeous :) I have a ghost het mot, "blue" (some kinda weird morph that makes aneries look bluish), blood, and I think lavender. XP Got an anery het all that girl to pair him with in a few years.
Lavender sunkisseds ought to be sweet... there's a few out there but I haven't seen many pics. I also got a pair of babies het for lavender and sunkissed I'm growing up :)

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2933768/ This is the only picture I have up on this gallery, i'll have to take another with a close up for them all. I no longer have that snow corn though, to my sadness.
Speaking of the "Blue" phase, I think I remember someone selling that phase at a repcon in Birmingham, Alabama. They were pretty pricey though and now what I was looking for.
For some reason i'm drawn to the more silvery/gray type morphs, and of course the whites and pale colors. Though I am interesting in getting a Butter corn at some point.
I used to be big into California Kingsnakes and Kingsnakes in general but I haven't had one in a while. The only other types I have is the Hognose there (het for Albino, male) and a Dumeril's boa.
And looking forward to seeing the cage setup!

Eee hee hee instafave!
There are so many cornsnake mutants at this point even I have a hard time keeping track, especially with the really subtle ones :P I saw some photos though and I do love me steely-blue coloration... these guys were decently priced even without the blue gene so I was intrigued.
At this point I mostly like getting pairs with lots of complementary hets that throw really diverse clutches :)
... I suppose if I had to pick one my fave would be my creamstripe girl though. I love the bright, bright orange!

I saw the cream stripes! If those were the most current posted- my Amel Stripe really looks like that, but is a lot lighter but so friggin' orange it's nuts. Another snake I was drawn too by the colors.
And I'll have to take a look to find some images of the adult ones of the blue phase. These guys only had babies so I never saw an adult.
