What exactly am I?

Last night I watched an old video from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?", in which Rainbow Dash meets some creepy-cute flowers, and I came up with this idea: A highly toxic (and even deadly) purplish-black flower, similar to a pansy but ugly, and so poisonous that it can kill anyone who approaches it. It can even make the air around it deadly to breathe, causing instant paralysis in whoever is unlucky enough to stumble upon it.
