well modeling in general is tricky to get the hang of, if you rely to much on brushes and tools like that for it you lose the basic skills for building structure
sure zbrush and stuff like that really make awesome looking models, but for me i like to build up a model with geometry first at least :p lol

O_O oh lol well you should totally look into light tracer, for beginners and I can show you how to its not that hard and your scenes will have a lot more realistic lighting of course it will take 3x as longer to do the final render but oh well :P any-who love you're stuff I wanna model a character of my own but just don't have the time :/
