Com for BlackRFox!! ::D He asked me to help design him his fursona from scratch!! I had a wonderful time knocking ideas back and forth and concepting until we came out with a design he liked!! 💙💙
Meet Glacuia the Protogen! He was a military drone protogen, used exclusively for warfare with no mental or physical autonomy of his own. Until one day, while in the field, an explosion detonated, damaging and tearing off parts of his own body as well as destroying both his allies and the enemy they were fighting. When he awoke he had a new found sentience and began putting himself back together from the scraps of the nearby drones.
I took inspiration from the first computers created, military computers from back in the 1950's and 60's. I also took some inspiration from military camouflage, particularly the pixelated kind since it seemed to fit the bio-tech that Protogens are known for.
I had a lot of fun with this character and working on this piece!! I look forward to possible getting to draw more of Gluacia in the future!! ::"D
