Evat, for those of you who don't know, is a dead (half) god.

Gods are filled with creational matter (the blue stuff) but when they die, the creational matter rots from unuse and becomes decreational matter (the black stuff).
They spew it out of every orifice, until they are empty. As they are emptied, their form becomes simpler and simpler, to a point where they are almost cartoonish in appearance. Their faces are the last things to go, eventually distorting and deforming into a grotesque appearance.

His twin sister died long before him. Her name is Ki. Her name was originally Kiuh, but when a god dies, they are no longer worthy of their name. Evat's name thus changes to Ev.
