Panel 01: Ethan meets up with Timothy
Diego: I'm headin' up to see EJ! See ya later Tim!
Timothy: No probs Dig!
Ethan: Hey Tim, may I ask your favor?
Timothy: Oh hey, are you Ethan? Kevin's cheetah friend?
Ethan: That's me. There's something I want to get inside one building nearby this school, and I hear you're the strongest in removing obstacles.
Timothy: So you're asking me to help you get something you want?
Ethan: Yep. What do you say?
Timothy: You might want to tell me where exactly we're going with this.
Ethan: On it, just go with me friend.
Timothy: Well, we have fewer interesting foods and less enjoyable activities than those last year.
Panel 02: Ethan and Timothy walk into the abandoned facility building via chain link fence
Ethan: It's some toy that resembles a big, heavy sword from video games. And guess what game I'm talking about swords?
Timothy: I frankly don't know, but I'm guessing the sword that is taller and wider than any kind.
Ethan: And that's called 'Buster Sword'! Good answer, Tim!
Timothy: So, is that toy sword inside this abandoned building?
Ethan: Yep, but how can you guess it's abandoned? Do you know how long it has been that state?
Timothy: Yeah, as far as I've been living for four years, that happened last year. You moved to this town and enrolled this school here three months ago.
Ethan: Then I hope you know this town better than I do, because
Timothy: Yeah, but this is the oil refinery.
Ethan: An oil what? Built next to this school?
Timothy: Technically, a couple of feet away from it, but yeah. Seems like a poisonous idea, doesn't it?
Ethan: Like I would mind, as long as there's some treasure inside.
Timothy: This is clearly something I'm uncertain about. Why would toys like that big sword end up in an abandoned oil refinery in the middle of the forest?
Ethan: Oh yeah, your friend Diego said he's familiar a lot of things on the inside, and you're much into those on the outside.
*Timothy thinks about what Ethan has said for few seconds, then turns to Ethan
Timothy: Is there anything else Diego said about this place?
Ethan: His only advice is to remove obstacles on the inside.
*Timothy walks forward and kicks the padlock barricading the two doors at the entrance, forcibly opening the said doors and revealing a heavy mountain of junk and rubble inside the building.
Timothy: One, that padlock is heavy duty and yet I'm thankful months of martial arts training have paid off. And two, goodness gracious, a mountain of this. I'm sure Diego has something else more to say about this toy sword.
Ethan: Well yeah, most of the treasure is underground.
Timothy: You mean in a basement below this floor.
Ethan: Yep.
*Timothy starts walking around the building in finding a weak spot on any part of the floor to get through. Once he finds it, he punches through it, but few seconds later it creates a bigger hole that drags both Timothy and Ethan down below.
Panel 03: Ethan clings onto the standing plank and grabs Timothy's hand while the latter is annoyed
Timothy and Ethan: AAAAAH!!!!
*Timothy and Ethan hit onto some black liquid
Timothy: Oof...the F?
Ethan: Ah! Oh! We're in the basement! And is this...tar?! Oh geez, anything but this?!
*Ethan finds a nearby plank standing still and clings onto it despite also sinking into the tar pit
Timothy: This again? Last time it was quicksand, now it's tar.
Ethan: Yeah, but this tar pit can sink us faster than a quicksand! Speaking of which, grab my hand!
*Timothy quickly grabs Ethan's hand, although the brown fox is still annoyed at the kind of situation he's familiar with. In this process, Timothy sinks down to a higher half of his chest
Ethan: Oh crud, okay calm down Timothy! Now that we're here together, we've got to find the way to get our butts out of this tar pit!
Timothy: Hmmmmm...come to think of it.
*Timothy looks around the basement and finds the hook tied to the rope coming from the large spool which is next to the lever. With eyes widened, Timothy drags his left arm upward, freeing it from the tar, and grabs the hook.
Timothy: Ethan, how far can you throw?!
Ethan: As far as the half of a football field!
Timothy: Then look at the lever over there!
*Ethan looks to the hook Timothy is holding, and is surprised to see the large spool of rope and the lever.
Ethan: Oh! Right!
*Ethan drags the long plank out of the tar and throws further into the lever, hitting it forward and causing the spool to pull the rope quickly. This process also drags Ethan down further into his chin.
Ethan: AH! I'M SINKING!
Timothy: Hang on Ethan!
*The hook gets pulled into the spool, dragging Timothy and Ethan out of the tar pit, but not as quick as they're expecting.
Ethan: It can't drag us out faster!
Timothy: Onto me, we're climbing the rope!
*Timothy and Ethan climb onto the rope, hoping to force themselves out from the tar pit. They also make grunts while doing so.
Panel 04: The pulled rope manages to drag Timothy and Ethan, so much it ends up throwing them into the spool and the lever, breaking the latter two in the process.
Timothy and Ethan: Ah! Ho! Oh! Ho!
*Both Timothy and Ethan are lying down onto the safe floor, but Timothy senses Ethan is in better need of assistance. Timothy tries to stand up and walk towards cheetah, only to end up lying onto Ethan's back.
Timothy: Sorry about that Ethan. I don't mean to fall onto your back.
Ethan: No need to. Your fluffy chest feels so right. Mind if you let me turn my back?
Timothy: Umm, sure.
*Timothy distances himself a bit, so Ethan can turn his back and have his fluffy chest planted onto Timothy's, causing the two boys to blush.
Ethan: Hmmm, Kevin's right about you. You're really a hot kind of fellow with a fluffy chest so open to give warmth. Thanks for saving me from the tar pit.
Timothy: Yeah, no problem Ethan. I guess it's worth knowing more Kevin's friends like you throughout this year, even if we've just met tonight.
Ethan: True. Are we on a stable platform?
Timothy: Why do you ask? Pretty sure you have another reason.
Ethan: I do. Mind if we cuddle each other a bit longer?
Timothy: Alright then. Guess I'm used to getting comfy with other boys, now that makes us even. Onto my bigger fluff Ethan.
*Timothy and Ethan remain with each other onto a floor for few minutes, before getting up to the storage room, which is also in basement. The storage room doors are also locked, but this time through their knob.
Ethan: Great, the storage room is also locked. Can you do the same thing, Tim? Your kick back there was so awesome!
Timothy: Frankly I'm thinking of punching.
*Timothy punches one door knob, immediately breaking the door in half and smoothly opening the other.
Timothy: There we go. Pretty much like my last kick, so effortless. Okay woah.
*Here unveils the large room of items completely unrelated to industry. Ones hanging on the walls include firearms, posters, hooks and ropes. Ones on the tables include electronics, remote-controlled toys, short melee weapons, and explosives. Ones standing at the walls include rocket launchers, staffs, sledgehammers and a single jackhammer. However, the most abundant of these treasures are blades scattered around the storage room, including daggers, scimitar, rapier, katana, halberds, javelins, khopesh, and hand axes.
Ethan: Oh man, your friend Dig ain't kidding about this room of weapons.
Timothy: Weapons? I thought they're all toys.
Ethan: To some, maybe, but all these stuff brought into this abandoned oil refinery, likely from the black market or who knows what, this is definitely the room of treasures.
Timothy: Geez, I think we've gotten too deep here. Perhaps looking for that Buster sword right now?
Ethan: Oh yeah, I almost forgot.
*Timothy and Ethan splits up to inspect through left and right areas of the room in search for the Buster sword, which lasted just several minutes. Ethan was able to find that sword just laid in a box display standing at the corner, much to the cheetah's joy.
Ethan: Hey Tim! Look! It's the Buster sword! I can't wait to get my hands onto it!
Timothy: Well, nice to kno--wait, is it locked?
Ethan: I don't care!
*Ethan is so joyful that he bears a wide grin and punches into the display glass. He grabs the hilt and pulls the sword out of the display smoothly and light-handedly, though breaking much of the glass.
Ethan: Finally, I've got the Buster sword!
Timothy: Woah geez! How light is that?!
Ethan: Light?! Watch this!
*Ethan swings the Buster into the brick wall, breaking it and leaving the long mark onto it. He pulls the sword away from the wall afterward.
Ethan: See?!
Timothy: Man, I'm starting to feel like I'm not the only guy born with strong muscles to begin with.
Ethan: You assume I have superhuman strength? Somehow maybe, I train often with Kevin as far as I remember.
Timothy: I guess that sums it up. Now that you're satisfied with this Buster sword and nothing else you want to take here, Let's find the way out of this place.
*Timothy looks around the room before leaving, only to have left arm grabbed by Ethan, stopping the fox from walking.
Ethan: Oh no no, not so fast Timothy. Diego told me something else. You see, that dingo came here looking for some futuristic device called 'hoverboard'.
Timothy: Hoverboard? You mean like a skateboard but its wheels replaced with floatation mechanics as its main vehicle?
Ethan: Yep.
Timothy: Oh that. I last saw him showing off his moves with his 'hoverboard' in the skatepark. Those skaterboarders were so jealous back then.
Ethan: I know right! That thing came from here!
Timothy: Interesting. So why did you stop me?
Ethan: It's because he also heard rumors from some nerd just last month. He described the sword that emits electricity, whose hilt is well carved in black wood, and the blade itself has some mind of its own, looking for a rightful holder, regardless of position or moral!
Timothy: That sounds mythical yet made up.
Ethan: True, but he said he saw it on that night he took the hoverboard for himself!
Timothy: So Diego came here weeks ago.
Ethan: Yeah man! He believes it's meant for you! Come, let's get you that sword!
*Timothy immediately hearing electrical sounds in a distance, while Ethan turns to search around the room again.
Timothy: Ethan wait!
Ethan: Come on Tim! Why standing still?
Timothy: I'm hearing something
*Ethan approaches Timothy and hears the same kind of sound
Ethan: I'm hearing that too. Can that be--
*Electrical sounds start emitting louder, causing Timothy and Ethan to turn to see the source: a pile of sword cases at another case, with one case shaking in plain sight.
Timothy: That box is moving.
Ethan: Well, what are you waiting for? Open that up.
*Timothy sighs as he walks towards the sword cases, only for the moving case to open up, emitting a force that pushes everything backward, including Timothy and Ethan.
Ethan: Hey Tim, are you alright?!
Timothy: Yeah, I'm fine.
*The two quickly stand up to see what comes out. A sword raises itself upward, emitting electricity and bearing a black hilt, but with shades of blue around it.
Ethan: Will you look at that?! It's that sword Diego told me about!
Timothy: I feel like we're in a fantasy world, that sword is up in the air!
*The mysterious bolt-inducing sword flies towards Timothy, and starts rotating upward as well.
Timothy and Ethan: AAH!!
Ethan: The sword's heading towards us!
*Out of fear, Timothy quickly slaps his palms onto the sword, only for him to realize he's held onto its hilt.
Timothy: What the?! I can't believe it!
Ethan: Woah, I told you it's meant for you Tim! And judging by this design, I once worked with Kevin on a group homework regarding swords! I know how this looks, but I can't remember that name! What is this called?!
*Timothy lets go of his left hand and hardens his right hand grip on the Kampilan. He then swings around several times for inspection.
Timothy: Ethan, this is the Kampilan sword, the one with dragon-carved hilt to be exact. I don't know why you're fascinated with swords like this and that Buster one, but I can't also fathom why it's destined to my weapon. What world have we been?
Ethan: Man, if you ask me, we're born to be warriors, aren't we?
Timothy: Maybe.
*Timothy gives out one final swing, but the Kampilan shoots bolts towards the brick wall, causing a small electrical explosion and leaving a big hole on the wall.
Ethan: Wow! Your sword is indeed mythical!
Timothy: Yeah, not gonna lie, I'm very impressed. Right now, I have to keep this low and get used to it. I believe it's gonna take days for me to master this sword. So what are you going to do with the Buster sword?
Ethan: Me and this sword? I dunno. Perhaps bring it with me everywhere I go.
Timothy: It's undeniable that your new sword is heavy enough to make an effective swing and strong damage, but its design looks so tempting that anyone can just snatch it from you when you're busy.
Ethan: Then how about this? We can just tell our classmates about this stash of weapons here, so that they can choose whatever they want.
Timothy: Come to think of it, where did you get that idea?
Ethan: Myself. I'm sure Diego will approve it.
Timothy: How many times has Diego gone into this?
Ethan: Several times a year.
Timothy: Hmmm...How about we talk to Diego about your idea later? Right now, we need to leave.
Ethan: Oh yes Tim, you're right! I must be too excited with these happening here! You lead the way!
