The right arm is gone just because it was too big. Made things simple and tore it off. This way you also have a view of what's inside at the very least. They would have both arms in my head, but if you want to keep with the one arm idea in future pics that's fine by me. Might make a few more on this same "base" of sorts. Think back to the last two adopts I made for an example of how different the designs would be using the same "base".
