Some doodles for
Motsaenggin, because I'm too much of a failure to finish anything more worthy to be a birthday gift atm :c

Haha, this could be considered a combo-breaker, I guess XD
She's a bit of a demon herself, although pictured here is just some random eel-horse demon guy that
motsaenggin drew in one of his illustrations :)
I'd make it in time...under normal circumstances. I've just started my exam session, though...Business English kept me from finishing anything ;___;

good luck and much success with exams!
aw, bizniz english... with all the anglizims abused in germany you'd think they'd know some business english already. unfortunately, they don't. I have seen one company moto reading, "to whom it may concern". I still can't decide if that's a rare fit of sarcasm, or someone doesn't know any real english and confused "concern" with "company", and they rather kept it than changing it and admit they failed hard...

Haha the exams are all over now, THANKFULLY!
I don't know this particular example, but Business English is...eh, pretty basic in my school. They make you learn a bunch of words by heart without any real context, and then expect you to use the terms flawlessly (even though the teachers themselves make some pretty embarassing mistakes all the time). The only way to learn something is to do some research on your own haha...maybe that's the case with Germany too.

Well...I study English Philology, the main focus of my course being Business English. The "English" part alone is very ok (although I've learned English mostly thanks to cartoons and computer games...and it shows, I guess :D), with history of literature and course book class, but when it comes to "Business"...it's all over the place. Quite literally. It wouldn't be so bad if they just made it more...practical and organized. Really, I can learn tons of words, no problem- but without actually using them in context? Futile. I will forget everything I've learned quickly.
But I guess they don't really care as long as I'm passing exams and such...which I find really really sad, but what can you do :P

don't bother to try in germany. they want papers about everythign you learned, and then they won't accept them anyway (while begging the politicians for qualified personnel they'll never employ anyway). I have seen an ad where they demanded a full application with everything and all, for a "fill up the shelves on saturdays" crappy job. :P
