As far as I can remember people have always said 'this was the worst year ever' every year. I know that no year is perfect. But I think we can all agree that 2020 was indeed one of the worst years ever.

Oh my word! I have never in my dreams ever would I have witnessed anything like we all went through this past year.

-Pests plagued the plains areas around the world
-Wildfires nearly burned Australia to the ground
-Wildfire breaking out all over the United States (about 1000 fires)
-Violent riots in the US, as well other parts of the world, and promoting more hatred
-An extremely bitter and hateful election in the US (again), which also destroyed close families and friendships
-And most famous... the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that broke out in March 2020, and is still in effect to this day. Businesses closed, people lost their jobs, schools closed, graduations and other celebrations were cancelled, traveling made difficult, families separated, and millions of people got sick and many died.

2020 was like living in a science fiction film. But it was all real.

But despite all of these terrible events, there was one thing for certain... God was and is still in control over these events. It may not seem like it, but He is bringing about things that were told were coming centuries ago. And during all this, He still heard our cries for help. And one day He's going to bring an end to it all. But until then, continue to trust the Lord because He is the only one who can save us from all this chaos.

So here is my own personal toast to everyone. I know that 2021 won't be perfect. But here is to a better year that is full of hope, joy, peace, healing, and all good things to everyone.
