... It didn't seem like he could make it in time.
He was still so far away.
Daylight was gone hours ago, as was the feeling in his paws.
Jacks was frezzing, the only thing keeping him going was the thought of what lay ahead.

"I can't stop now.. I promissed her I will make it this year.. I won't let her down!"

He would say to the icy gusts of wind engulfing his fur.
Finally.. after hours and hours of traveling through the snow and darkness he could see a light in the distance.

"Is that it? It must be it.. what else can it be.."

He started running towards it, announcing his presence with a shaky roar.
As he drew closer, he could see movement.. someone was there!

"SERBI! I made it! It's so good to finally see you!!"
