Wouldn’t that hurt badly anyways? Just the tiniest shard of glass can be quite painful, although I don’t know how the rules involving pain work in this particular universe. Also, how heavy would the coyote have to be? I’ve accidentally stepped on Legos and other things before without the piece breaking while causing incredible pain. So many questions
Realistically? Or as much as possible, his paw pads are really tough, so pieces that small wouldn’t bother him. And exact weight aside, think of how easily cars are crushed when even something like a tree falls on them. A coyote that is clearly far larger and heavier than any tree would be a able to crush a car extremely easily.
Well I guess that’s true, but then how does the road support it’s weight. More interesting, how do the legs support the weight? That’s something that has always stumped me trying to find logic in this specific fantasy on how creatures could simply be scaled up without further modification and not crumble. Although I guess that’s the point of fantasy
That makes sense, but finally, what is the in universe answer for all of this? In real life, I get that people can like what they want to like as long as it isn’t hurting anyone, but it seems like a huge waste of money and resources (in universe). Even junkyards would be a difficult place for this type of stuff because the cars there would probably have to be appropriately processed before transportation. Even if it is fun for the large ones, is it worth the in universe suffering? Families would have to pay for it out of their own pay check, and people who gave everything into their car would be left with nothing. Companies that specialize in transporting materials would go bankrupt and cities would be destroyed, with millions left without a home, in addition to the huge amount of homeless people that already exist. Of course, I could be over thinking this
