Oh, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but this isn't canon IRL. Ruby, being a dragoness, would go through an egg cycle every 3 or 4 months rather than have a period every month, so her womb would fill with eggs that she would lay in about a week if they weren't fertilized. Here, we're just sharing a tender moment during one such cycle, at least a day before she lays, I'd guess. (I don't know exactly when, like I said 'twas a gift pic ^^')
