Cold Climates, Aquatic, Civilized
Another cold-suited species of Cusige, this time adapted to living their entire lives underwater. Their skin is thick, hairless and scaleless, with a healthy layer of fat underneath to keep them warm. They, like all aquatic species of Cusige, still grow hair on their heads.
Technology is something they are well experienced in, and thus their massive underwater civilizations are some of the top in the world when it comes to it. However, humanities and civilness do not come hand-in-hand for them.
While they do send up trade items, they are just as likely to send up hunting parties to capture and consume anything sentient in their sights. Their coral gardens house some of the rarest plants and aquatic animals on the planet, though, so trading with them continues. Some creatures can only be found in their captivity, and nobody has been able to figure out why.
Their families are often smaller and lose knit, but they have a strong sense of bloodline and familial relation. Marriages are sometimes set up between families before the babies are even born, but if those marriages turn out is up to the kids themselves.
