(Loosely based an actual dream I had. Only a few details have been changed)

I walk into the large towering building pass the lobby and into an elevator. I press the 11th floor button and feel as the elevator starts going up. I look at my back side and happy that there isn’t a tail there that time. I don’t know what’s been triggering these transformation but guess that’s what the therapist I’m going to is going to help me find out.

I walk off the elevator and into another room with a front desk. I sign in. The room is poorly lite and has soft music playing from the desk area. Probably just a computer speaker. I’m told by the receptionist to wait in the waiting area. The red chairs are soft but I’m not in the waiting room long before being called in by the therapist.

I walk into the therapist office and seat at a desk. She starts talking to me about my transformations. I shrug really unsure how to answer. She’s talking and I’ve noticed my hand had become a paw. I try hiding it but she notices and tells me to show her my paw. I do embarrassingly. She starts saying more therapist like stuff.

I tell her I have it under control but she stops me and tells me my ears have changed. I touch them and they flick up and down. She then tells me that I’m lying to myself.

She tells I’m not really a human that I am actually a Pokémon in denial. I’m taken aback by her comments.

I’m not a Pokémon. I say. As I touch my face with my paws. Waving my other paw. Do I look like a Pokémon? She says nothing and writes down stuff in her notepad.

I place my paws on the desk. “Need to calm down” I say quite and mutter again that I’m not a Pokemon. After talking for a while I calm down but still haven’t changed back. It was the longest time I had been transformed.

She writes down more stuff. “You can wait in the empty office next door till you turn back to your natural, normal you. She smiles as she gets up and leads me to the empty office and wait there. Still thinking that she never said turn back into a human. She said normal self...
