Ever since I saw the anime Dirty Pair Flash, I had a major thing for Kei. She's cool, she's tetchy and she kicks ass. And more importantly she's not a whiney little bitch like Yuri >_>

The thought popped into my head a few weeks back about doing a pic of Kei and Nexus posed like this. I asked  purity if she could sketch something up for me, and she did. It was simply incredible how she captured her on the first try.

I put so much work into this, getting Nexus' and her gun exactly right (spekt half an hour inking each one o.0 )
I spent a lot of time studying the pictures I had of Kei to get the shading and highlighting similar to the original style, while still keeping my own. I think she came out pretty well.

Bit of a boring background, but by that time my hand aches and I was tired >.<
