Heya, so, I haven’t been posting. In fact, it’s been the greater majority of 2020 that I didn’t post.

I had a car accident. I continued to draw, but the accident, money problems, COVID, and being generally down... I didn’t draw for most the year.

It’s now the start of a new year and I’m trying to get back into things. It’s proving to be a struggle in more ways than one.

First... my drawing quality has gone down, and I’m frustrated trying to get it back to where it was. And then, my social media presence, it’s almost nothing. My interaction is low, and I can’t seem to pick it up. It’s depressing to upload an drawing and lose a follower every time. I’m just leaking and... I’m drained, lacking direction and my motivation is falling. I’d like to be one of those “I’m happy and nothing ever gets me down” kinda people but that just isn’t authentic.

I never vent my feelings anywhere else, only here and in private messages. Maybe this is the community I feel most comfortable? Maybe I should start over with a new identity? Just take on a new artist name and try it all again with a different approach. I don’t know.
