Originally from Faerun, the immortal fiend known as Sharaheh was quite shocked to find himself ripped from his modest harem of worshipers and dropped into a wasteland of sugar. He would soon be greeted by Truffle, who was pleased by his hedonist nature and decided to give him his "blessing" filling him with a hunger far greater then any he had experienced. The god would create an oasis for him to feast and gouge to his heart's content, the demon quickly giving into his new found appetite. After several days of stuffing his face, the Rakshasa would realize that the god was fattening him up, and that he would end up as a meal himself. He would then make a deal with the deity, offering to bring others under his influence in exchange for taking him off the menu. The god was intrigued and accepted the offer, allowing him to transform the oasis into the city of Halu, which has since grown into the largest trade port in all of Mylk. The sweets and sugar crafts in Halu are sought after by gourmets and collectors far and wide, which has brought much prosperity to it's people, which is show by their waistlines. The people largely unaware of the sultan's fiendish nature, due to his shapeshifting abilities, which he has used to create the illusion of a royal line ruling Halu since it's founding. In truth, Sharaheh has kept his Rakshasa nature a secret from all but his closest inner circle, with all others thinking him merely a rather rotund Tabaxi. Due to his fiendish nature, he has cravings for more then just sweets, and will sometimes consume humanoids, usually criminals he has sentenced to "Banishment", or even his own servants. For the hungry demon kitty, he has truly found paradise.
